Look at this perfectly handsome dog! Not only does he look like the perfect, adorable animal this guy has the best temperament and manners to match. So one would think this boy would find a new home in a heartbeat. Normally that would have been true but unfortunately, TEDDY/ Zodi suffers from grand mal seizures. If anyone has experience with this type of seizure you will know that they are very difficult to watch. As a human, you feel helpless but you have to stay strong to assist the dog in every way possible until the episode subsides. We knew he would need a very understanding, compassionate, and dedicated family to stay by his side through thick and thin.

So once again fate stepped in. His new family came to our adoption event to meet another dog but they also saw TEDDY. He had captured their hearts. Even after viewing a video of Teddy/Zodi having an episode they still wanted to adopt him. After having a trial they decided to make him a permanent part of the family. Of course, we are over the moon Zodi will be safe and well-taken care. His every need met. We want everyone to know that the seizures don’t define his life or his family’s. He has no limitations.
He loves to fetch, run in the yard, take walks, and snuggle.
What defines their family is the LOVE they have for each other. We looked up the definition of his new name ZODI…..
It says very idealistically and generous, with the strong desire to uplift humanity leading you into situations where you can express your desire to serve others. It’s perfect because we know Zodi uplifts everyone’s spirit especially his family’s. Hopefully, his story will inspire others to adopt dogs like Zodi.

Their family pictures and story says it all; HE LOVES THEM UNCONDITIONALLY AND THEY LOVE HIM IN RETURN.

Thoughts from the family;
“Even though we’ve been talking about getting a dog for years, we continue to be surprised by just how quickly Zodi became a part of our family! Between our daily walks, playtime, and just plain chilling on the couch, it’s hard to think of what our lives were like before meeting this special guy. We’re so glad we’ve been given the opportunity to love Zodi, and we’re so happy he loves us back!”

Happy Tears! Update from Dad today. Since starting epilepsy medication he has been seizure-free.
A wonderful story for our dog universe today. ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

Congratulations to Zodi and Family!
