WALK ME HOME RESCUE GROUP

Walk Me Home Rescue Group is an all-volunteer donation based non-profit organization under IRS section 501(c)(3). We rely on the generosity of our friends and the community to realize our mission of safeguarding, rescuing, medically treating, spay/neutering and finding forever homes for the dogs that enter our rescue. Our dogs come from local street abandonment (dumped), local owner surrenders and local shelter facilities; including dogs scheduled for euthanasia. Our rescue is 100 percent foster based, meaning our dogs are placed in the home of a loving volunteer foster family where they are incorporated into the daily lives of that family. The dogs are evaluated, medically cared for, loved and also receive basic training skills to aid in the transition to their forever home.

ADOPTION EVENTS & VOLUNTEERS

Our volunteers make a positive difference in the lives of so many dogs and our rescue extends the opportunity for youth to participate. We believe that working with dogs can contribute to the development, knowledge, skills, and character to aid them in becoming productive, engaged citizens with positive self-esteem and self-confidence. We organize and conduct animal rescue events to facilitate dog adoptions, provide education regarding pets health, training and medical needs which includes spay/neuter.
